What is a Public Adjuster?

A Public Adjuster is a state licensed claims adjuster, that is there to advise and assist the home owner, not the insurance company. A Public Adjuster is trained to look at more then just the damage, so that we can help the home owner maximize the amount they are entitled to for a claim. Public Adjuster's advocate for the policyholder when filing a claim. We are licensed & bonded by the department of Banking and Insurance to help home owners with appraisals and claims in the event of a loss. When you experience a loss, it's a Public Adjuster that you will want when filing a claim with the insurance company.

What Insurance Companies Do:

"Insurance Companies" have very experienced "Insurance Company Adjusters" that are paid to make the insurance company money. If you or someone you know has filed a claim with the insurance company, you know that their adjusters are only looking to benefit the insurance company more.

They do this, by paying as little as possible on a claim that a homeowner files when they are facing emotional times due to losses. By taking advantage of the emotional situations insurance company adjusters will either completely deny a claim, or use the homeowners mindset at the time to convince policyholders to accept as little as possible on a claim.

Public adjusters however, want to maximize the amount you can get for the damages because in the event of a loss you lose more then just what was damaged. Whether your property is commercial, residential, rental, or even a vacation home Public Adjusters are there for you not the insurance company.

Public Adjusters are regulated by the AAPIA (American Association of Public Insurance Adjuster) and follow the guideline they put in place. For more information on AAPIA please visit their website at http://www.aapia.org
